From the early days of typesetting and film to the advent of digital scanners and computerized retouching stations, prepress is the one area of printing that has seen the most advancement over the years. We have always been ahead of the curve technologically, moving from computers and film output devices in the early 1990s to computer-to-plate in 1998.Today, we even have programmers on staff.
We pride ourselves on the knowledge and expertise of our prepress team. We handle scanning and retouching and can assist with certain design issues in terms of how best to obtain a top quality result at the lowest possible cost. We have the full range of Mac and PC prepress software and can handle any file. Whether the job is a single-sheet flyer or a 200-page book, our prepress team treats it with care so that the entire prepress process is as seamless as possible for the customer. We archive all our client work at no extra charge.*
We utilize the Rampage workflow, which provides a fast and efficient tool that complements the expertise of our prepress operators and guarantees that what is on the proof is on the press sheet. Our proofing system is calibrated to GRACoL standard to ensure a perfect match in the pressroom.
